ARROW CAPACITY

Capacity planning software for services businesses

Can we take this contract on — and if not, who do we need to hire?

Capacity sets demand against supply, per skill, per month. It reads the hours already committed in the delivery products and the skills held in Arrow Skills, subtracts one from the other, and shows you the month the work runs past the people.

What Arrow Capacity does

  • Committed hours and pipeline on one capacity line
  • Leave subtracted, so the number is hours you actually have
  • The shortfall becomes the hiring brief

Who it is for

Operations and resourcing leads in consulting and managed-services firms who need to know — before they sign — whether the people exist to do the work.

Standalone, Capacity answers its own question. Inside Arrow it shares one sign-in, one people directory and one licence store with every other product.

Arrow Capacity FAQ

How does Arrow Capacity calculate available hours?

From each person’s working hours for the month, less approved leave, grouped by the skills recorded for them in Arrow Skills. Every figure is a monthly figure, so demand and supply are always compared like for like.

Where does the demand come from?

From the hours already committed in Arrow Delivery, Projects and Retainer, plus pipeline work you have not won yet — so you can test a deal against your capacity before you sign it.
